Astronomy for me is a longing for the unknown, it is what keeps me awake at night awaiting to see the luminous stars and a full moon. I get this feeling that somewhere in the cosmos, in another dimension, there is life, apart from us, apart from myself, and I hope to see this possibility one day. To know that we ourselves wouldn't be here if it weren't for the stars, and that is a fascinating thought, one that I ponder often. Like the amazing Carl Sagan said, "We are a way for the universe to know itself."
